Tina's Stars
Tina's huge heart, passion and strength didn't just make an imprint on me, they are woven into the fibers of my being.
You have brought such joy to my life. I cannot picture you without thinking of your dazzling smile and love of life. Tina, you are such an inspiration to me.
I now continue in community theatre and have Tina to thank....I so appreciate her and her wonderful direction and guidance.
You helped me find a way out of my shell and sparked the self-confidence which I utilize every day. My life would honestly not have been the same if I hadn't met you and worked with you.
Dear Tina - wishing you all the very best that retirement has to offer. Thank you for loaning the theater world your joy and encouragement for so many years.
Everything I know about Musical Theater I learned from you and Manny. You have touched 1000's of lives with your lessons, direction, summer camp programs and most importantly in the way that you welcome everyone into your world.
We especially loved going to see Tina in shows and then also enjoyed the magic in every show she directed throughout the years we've known her.
Tina, the voice lessons that you gave Jill really changed her life! She learned to release her energy by letting her voice soar. It was as if she grew into her real self.
I really love her passion for all things! She loved things with a passion and also hated things with a passion. I like that she doesn't do mornings. I really enjoyed her parties. And her wardrobe of costumes....LOVE!
After my lesson was done, but before we left, I could occasionally convince her to sing something for me. I would sit and watch her with just awe. Her confidence was inspiring. It was my own private concert.
Tina, you are so wonderfully talented and that you share so much of yourself with people is nothing less than incredible. You have shaped so many new performers into strong, confident artists and cultivated beautiful friendships along the way. You're greater than any star.
Tina always presented the next challenge as simply the next step she knew you could accomplish. Never done it before-didn't matter. Never thought you could-didn't matter. Tina believed you could, so you simply did.
I learned to believe in myself! She always gave me the confidence to be me! If it wasn’t for Tina I would have never realized my true passion for music and theater! She truly changed my life for the better and made it what it is today!
You were a HUGE part of my childhood and still play a big part in why I continue everyday creating music and singing.
Tina would have me rolling in the aisles with every one of her big musical comedy roles - Miss Hannigan, Mame, Matron Mama Morton. Her stage presence and comic timing have always been undeniable!
I love you so much and you gave so much to so many. You never asked for anything back. You appreciated everyone around you and always brought the best in them. Love you for ever!
Tina, congratulations on such an amazing milestone! You have helped countless people, both on and off stage, more than you will ever know. You are a true gift to the arts and your love for it will never be forgotten.
She is a bright light in this sometimes dismal world.
She is love and light.
She has given so much to so many and asked for nothing in return.
You are such a gift to the world, and I know there are countless people out there who wouldn't have half the self confidence they do if they hadn't known you. Thank you for giving your time and heart to all of us.
I remember the closing night parties at Tina and Manny's house--laughing together, joking about the goofs, and remember the shows that we've all seen or done together. Those were great evenings together!
I am forever grateful for you and your dedication to shaping young artists. I mean it from the bottom of my heart, I would not be the person I am today if it were not for the influence you had on me.
I’m not sure where I would be without Tina and Manny. They gave me a place to grow up, to meet friends. They believed in me and my talent. More importantly, they saw me for who I truly was.
Tina taught me to have confidence in myself. Tina was one of the most outspoken and fearless woman I’ve ever met.
I am forever grateful for you and your dedication to shaping young artists. I mean it from the bottom of my heart, I would not be the person I am today if it were not for the influence you had on me.
Tina was a BIG presence in all our lives. She filled the room and boy could she dress herself up. She was beautiful.
