What is your favorite memory of your time with Tina?
My favorite memory was going to her house after school and being SO excited to take voice lessons with her! I would always wonder what was the next song she had chosen for me! She was so warm and nonjudgmental that I always felt like I could try new things and be myself!

Eb/Kander Medley and I’ve Got to Crow (from Peter Pan)

What is the most valuable lesson you learned from Tina?
I learned to believe in myself! She always gave me the confidence to be me! If it wasn’t for Tina I would have never realized my true passion for music and theater! It has gotten me through so many difficult times and I am beyond grateful for Tina for giving me that gift!❤️ She truly changed my life for the better and made it what it is today!
What did you go on to do in life/career?
I went to school in NYC at AMDA for musical theater and then went on tour for a year. I now teach Special Education in HISD and incorporate music in my lessons.
What is your favorite memory of Manny?
My favorite memory of Manny was the different ways he would show us the middle finger! The best was when he would adjust his glasses that way!😂
Is there anything you'd like to say to Tina on the occasion of her retirement?
Tina, thank you for all of the kindness and love you showed me! You were one of my biggest role models growing up and you opened my world up to the greatest thing in world, theater!
