michel & TINA
Roughly, when did you work/study/perform with Tina? (years?)

1993+
What is your favorite memory of your time with Tina?

We have known Tina for such a long time and love her dearly. I have known her since 1993, when I started at Playhouse 1960. Some of the best years of my life had to do with Tina and Manny. They have given so much of themselves to so many. Tina is one of a kind. Many lives have been enriched by her, both personally and professionally. She is quite the performer on stage. And a great director! Her shows always came off, absolutely perfection.
Did you perform in any community theater musicals with Tina? If so, which ones?

Annie, Gypsy--too many to name

Did you ever go to Jojo's restaurant with Tina and the cast?
You asked about JoJo's I went there with Tina and we were in a group from the theatre and Tina and I started to sing show tunes and were asked to quiet down. Ha! It was funny that we often got in trouble with Manny when we were backstage during a show and were caught being too noisy. He would walk away after scolding us and then we would laugh and start up again!!

Is there anything you'd like to say to/about Tina on the occasion of her retirement?

Tina is generous in her spirit and with gifts. She loves to entertain. I was always offering to pay for something or bring something to her house for one of her get-togethers and she would never let me.
Also, Tina is a fabulous decorator. The few times she came over to my house, she would say, Michel, your house is so outdated. And she was right. Most of my furniture is circa 1990! And I never bought new furniture. I guess I am a bit frugal, something Tina is not, sometimes to Manny's chagrin!
She once told me she had 281 blouses and needed a room upstairs just to store them. Stein Mart always saw her coming. When they closed their stores, due to the pandemic, it broke Tina's heart.
Tina is a true animal lover. She spoils her pets and loves them dearly, as she loves her friends and family. I used to tease her about how much she spoiled them, until I got my chihuahua, the love of my life, Boo. Then I understood. There is nothing I would not do for that dog.
And finally, Tina is a wonderful wife, grandmother, mother, and friend.

Is there anything else you'd like to say?
I tried to say it all but I am not a writer, by any stretch of the imagination. When I think of Tina, I think, SPARKLE!! She is a bright light in this sometimes dismal world. She is love and light.
She has given so much to so many and asked for nothing in return.
