MELODY MAY
melody & TINA
Roughly, when did you work/study/perform with Tina? (years?)

Beginning 1994
What is your favorite memory of your time with Tina?

It has to be the closing night parties at Tina and Manny's house. Laughing together, joking about the goofs, and remember the shows that we've all seen or done together. Those were great evenings together!

What was your favorite song that you sang for Tina?

I would NEVER have put her through the misery of having to hear me sing!
Did you perform in any community theater musicals with Tina? If so, which ones?

Stage Manager for Bye Bye Birdie

At which theaters did you perform for Tina?
Playhouse 1960
What is the most valuable lesson you learned from Tina?

Thanks to Tina, and our first few goofs going off script on "The Nerd," I learned the importance of improvisation, and how to use it.
What did you go on to do in life/career?

While my busy work schedule and out-of-town move has keept me from being so involved with theatre, I look forward to my work retirement in just a couple of years to be able to have more theatre time again!

What is your favorite memory of Manny?

Mann in Laughter on the 23rd floor - what an experience that was acting with Manny under Tina's direction. One of my favorite shows to have under my acting belt.

Is there anything you'd like to say to Tina on the occasion of her retirement?

While I hope that your retirement brings you peace of relaxation, please never step away from being able to enjoy the theatre. You may be able to start watching shows from the audience point of view now!

Is there anything else you'd like to say?

I'm personally joining in on the betting pool, taking the side that she'll be back!
